Back to School

I am so ready for the school year to begin.  I am going to completely miss sleeping in the morning.  But I miss the order of keeping my house clean and having things put in their place.

So tomorrow I will have to wake up early and get the kids ready.  And this year my oldest son will be in the junior high so he starts school even earlier so it is going to be an even bigger challenge in the morning around here.

I am also in disbelief on how expensive it can be to go to school.  I just think that public school has gotten so expensive.  I mean there are the school fee's and then the supplies.  Our school system requires you to have a pair of gym shoes that you leave in your locker even in the first grade.  So when you think about it when your child out grows their shoes thru out the school year you have to also buy another pair of shoes for their gym locker.  

Well, most years Grandma goes out and buys my kids their new school shoes and these are the shoes that they picked out.  I look at this picture and I can't believe how big my kids are getting.
